Work Experience

Clemson Home
As a Residential Community Mentor, I supported students in their transition to college by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment within university housing. I planned and hosted events that built community and encouraged student success, while also providing one-on-one support and guidance to residents. My role involved helping students feel at home, navigating challenges such as conflict resolution, and fostering a sense of belonging that made their college experience smoother and more connected.
Women for Women
Women for Women is a program that empowers women through mentorship, education, and community-building. Through this involvement, I participated in the FEMME Festival in Spartanburg, SC, an event that highlighted women’s voices and creativity. I was also given the opportunity to teach interview etiquette workshops at Jasmine Road, a residential program for women survivors of human trafficking, prostitution, and addiction, helping participants build confidence and professional skills.

The Childrens Museum of the Upstate
At the museum, I created and taught an eight-week STEAM curriculum for K–2 students that encouraged creativity, hands-on learning, and curiosity. I also led programs like Open Art, STEAMworks, and Storytime, where I worked directly with children and families to make learning fun and accessible. Through these experiences, I was able to support the museum’s mission while helping kids grow in science, technology, engineering, art, and literacy in an engaging and welcoming environment.
Residential Housing Assoication
As a Senator for Holmes McCabe Hall in Clemson’s Residence Hall Association, I represented my community by voicing resident concerns and ensuring feedback was brought to the General Assembly. I worked closely with fellow council members to plan hall-wide events, advocate for student needs, and strengthen the residential experience. Through weekly meetings and collaboration with University Housing, I helped bridge the gap between residents and campus leadership. My commitment to advocacy and engagement was recognized when I was honored as Senator of the Year in 2022.
