MKT 3010
Principles of Marketing
Introduction to core marketing concepts, including market research, consumer analysis, branding, pricing, and promotional strategies. Applied marketing frameworks to real-world case studies.
MKT 3030
Marketing and Society
Discussed the societal and ethical dimensions of marketing, including globalization, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
MKT 4230
Promotional Strategy
Learned to build integrated promotional plans—defining target audiences, positioning, and creative messaging, then selecting media (digital, social, and traditional) and setting budgets/KPIs. My projects included a full IMC brief with a channel calendar and measurement plan tying tactics to business goals.

Consumer Behavior

This course continued the discussion of topics introduced in MKT 3010. I studied psychological, cultural, and social factors influencing buying decisions, with application to marketing strategies across diverse audiences
MKT 4270
International Marketing
Studied marketing in an international context, focusing on global strategy, cultural adaptation, and methods of entering new markets. Analyzed differences between domestic and international approaches.
MKT 4280
Services Marketing
Studied what makes services different from goods and practiced tools like service blueprinting, customer-journey mapping, and the GAP/SERVQUAL frameworks. I designed a service recovery plan and capacity strategy for a real service scenario, focusing on reliability, responsiveness, and turning complaints into retention.

Intermediate Spanish
Expanded deeper into the Spanish language, specifically grammar and vocabulary, through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Strengthened grammar and vocabulary to support academic and conversational use.

Spanish for International Business I
Introduced business-specific vocabulary and professional communication strategies. Improved my ability to engage in workplace interactions in Spanish-speaking environments through case studies and simulations.
Advanced Spanish and Grammar I & II
Taken sequentially, these advanced courses serve students with 3+ years of Spanish who can manage everyday interactions but need stronger control across oral and written registers. Explored contemporary cultural debates across the Hispanic world through film, essays, music, and media. Spanish Survey Literature
​Taken abroad at the University of Alicante and taught entirely in Spanish. The course surveys Spanish Peninsular literature from the 18th century to the present, studying major movements across genres and comparing key authors to explore themes, cultural idiosyncrasies, universal values, and formal characteristics. The Hispanic World: Latin America
Surveyed Latin American history, politics, and culture through literature and film. This class gave me a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity and its impact on business.
